We asked, you shared-

Q; How will an apprenticeship help me progress towards my professional career goals?

From my experience, I was able to join a media agency where I can use tools and processes which are transferable to any company. By gaining inside knowledge and experience using new platforms, I work towards progressing my digital skills as a Marketer.

Q; How does your apprenticeship work contribute towards company strategy/goals?

A great part of the apprenticeship is that I get to see how my efforts are beneficial for the company I’m in, such as by providing valuable insights that can help the company to identify areas to focus their digital marketing efforts.

Q; What areas of marketing could I work in?

From having prior work experience at a start-up marketing consultancy company, I was interested in specialising in an area of marketing, so I undertook my role in Performance Marketing to gain experience working with paid ads. By doing courses such as Google Analytics and Search, I am continually learning and developing my skillset in the digital marketing field.

Q; Can you give an insight into Performance Marketing and what this means?

A performance marketing team is responsible for planning, activating and reporting on campaigns, and you could be involved in helping the team by setting up and activating new campaigns for brands. In addition to the setups, you would be involved largely in the communications with clients about campaigns.
