Is it a higher apprenticeship level?
A higher apprenticeship (level 4 or 5) is above advanced level apprenticeships (level 3). Once you have completed an advanced level apprenticeship you would be eligible to apply for a higher apprenticeship. Likewise, if you completed a higher apprenticeship this could then lead into doing a degree apprenticeship within your specified field. You can find out more on this here.
Is another apprenticeship worth it?
I know you may be in two minds about it all but here is my advice:
- Qualification: You can acquire another one at a higher level which will enhance your CV and diversify your options.
- Experience: Gain experience working in another reputable company. You’ll gain exceptional skills and knowledge from on the job working.
- Network: Work in a new environment with work colleagues you can build relationships with to positively impact you and the choices you make.
