Promoting Apprenticeships in the UK

Introducing: Employer Series

Calling All Employers: Share Your Apprenticeship Program and Empower Tomorrow’s Talent!

Next month, here at The Apprenticeship Network, we will be launching a month-long Employer Series; a blog post a week curated by you, apprentice employers.

The Employer Series offers apprentice employers the opportunity to show off their apprenticeship schemes to the apprentices across the network. Over the next month, employers can send us an outline of their apprenticeship programme that we can share to potential candidates.

Why share your apprenticeship programme?

  1. Attract Top Talent: Potential candidates across the network are hardworking and intelligent individuals with passion and enthusiasm who can’t wait to get started!
  2. Cultivate a Positive Employer Brand: Demonstrating your commitment to supporting the growth of young professionals can enhance your employer brand. A reputation for investing in the future workforce fosters trust and loyalty among candidates and customers alike.
  3. Contribute to Skill Development: Apprenticeships are a powerful way to bridge the skills gap and nurture a skilled workforce. By sharing your program, you play an active role in developing capable professionals for your industry.

There are so many more reasons but ultimately sharing your apprenticeship program opens up a world of possibilities for your organisation as well as for many aspiring and ambitious individuals. We know that employers often struggle to get their incredible schemes in front of the right audiences, so this month is really for you!

What to include in your programme outline?

  1. A Pathway to Success: Unveil your apprenticeship program to offer young talents a pathway to career success. Providing comprehensive details about your program will open doors for ambitious individuals to gain valuable experience, setting them on the road to a rewarding future within your industry.
  2. Progression and Security: In an unpredictable job market, future apprentices are looking for a sense of security and are thinking more long term than ever, so emphasise how your apprenticeship can assure these concerns.

We know that our potential candidates are curious about not only the details of the programme but also the application process and any success stories from previous apprentices.

How to get involved:

If you would like to share your scheme with our apprentice network, please register your interest here. You will then be contacted with further information. We look forward to hearing from you!
