When you leave Sixth Form or college, it can sometimes be daunting to know which path to take following the end of your required learning journey.
Some people see university as the most logical and sensible step to take whereas others find themselves at a crossroads and are unsure as to what step they should take next.
We’re here to tell you why an Apprenticeship might be better suited to your needs and wants.
- Flexibility – An apprenticeship allows you to live your usual life at the weekends whilst also giving you a routine.
- Gets you used to the working world – University rarely gets you used to the outside working world and so an apprenticeship helps you get used to the working world whilst teaching you.
- Independence – Allows you to learn independently.
- Networking – An apprenticeship allows you to network with people up higher than you or with someone in the same position as you.
- Earn while you learn – University doesn’t offer this option! You get to earn money whilst learning. Nothing is better than getting paid to learn!
- Opportunities – An apprenticeship doesn’t mean that you can’t have a career change. This may even open up other doors for you!
