At the end of the apprenticeship upon passing you gain qualifications as you would upon graduating from school or university. These qualifications are much more applicable to the work place then the traditional qualifications and allow you to stand out from the crowd.

How do I find the right apprenticeship for me?

Prior to looking for apprenticeships, you should find out what you love doing? This could be something to do with numbers, or creativity or looking after and managing other people. These are excellent indications of what type of apprenticeship or path you may want to get into.

Your love for maths could easily be translated into a finance apprenticeship, or your creativity could be perfectly matched for an advertising apprenticeship.

If you love what you’re applying for the overall application process will become much easier. When talking with potential employers if they sense your love for the topic this can make you seem even more like the ideal candidate.

Tips and Advice for the Application Process

Prior to going into an interview make sure you have done sufficient levels of prep on the company you’re applying for as well as the position. This paints you in a very positive light to your potential employer and makes you seem like a much better candidate for the position.

Make sure you utilise the resources you have around you. This could be friends and family helping you with mock interviews or asking teachers from school for any advice they can give.
