My Personal Experience

I started my apprenticeship journey in September 2021 at one of the biggest media agencies in the UK. I have learnt so much that will help me to progress into the next role I get. I’m definitely pleased that I decided to do an apprenticeship over university as it’s been such an amazing experience so far.

I am lucky enough to work with amazing clients that not everyone gets the chance too. Also, working with experienced people who can help me develop my skills.

Doing an apprenticeship makes you grow as a person. Professionally and personally. My coach supports me all throughout and sets me objectives for my development. I get to expand my knowledge and learn so much in my training sessions. Furthermore, I will have two years worth of experience when I finish. This will put me at an advantage to those who went to University.

Apprenticeships allow me to build a network with people in the same industry as me and also make new friends. Also, I get invited to events and client dinners! These are some amazing opportunities that you wouldn’t want to miss out on.

It’s a great way to kick start you career without having to worry about debt because you get paid which is another bonus! You also receive paid holiday and many perks such as discounts.

Overall, apprenticeships are definitely worth it, no matter the career you want to get into. You earn a qualification, a wage, meet new people and more. It’s a fantastic opportunity that you will never forget.

You will not regret it!
